Senior Airman James Wright is a trombonist with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA.  Originally from Pittsburgh, PA his Air Force career began in 2014.

SrA Wright is a 2010 graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music, Cleveland, OH, where he earned a bachelor's degree in trombone performance.  In 2012 he received a master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.  His teachers include Richard Stout, Massimo La Rosa, and Peter Sullivan.
