HEARTLAND OF AMERICA BAND

The combined elements of Raptor & Offutt Brass form the Heartland of America Band: an innovative and dynamic 14-member ensemble that provides world-class entertainment for the whole family. JAZZ | PROTOCOL COMBOS

The USAF Heartland of America Band provides a variety of musical group configurations for background, dinner, and featured entertainment in support of official active duty, Guard and Reserve unit military functions. Examples include: military ceremonies, base open houses, dinings in/out, unit morale events, military recognition events, and military honors.

 

HERALD TRUMPET ENSEMBLE    

The Herald Trumpet Ensemble typically performs with 5 brass instrumentalists and a percussionist. The brass instruments used include the E-flat soprano, two B-flat mezzo-sopranos, a B-flat tenor, and Bb bass trumpet. The brightly colored banners or tabards that hang from the bell of each instrument serve to enhance the visual effect of the ensemble.  The Herald Trumpet Ensemble is often requested for official military functions, civic ceremonies, as well as major sporting and community events, performing musical honors for dignitaries, heroic fanfares and the national anthem.

 

BUGLERS

Buglers from the USAF Heartland of America Band perform for official military functions, ceremonies, funerals, and other events that meet the performance request requirements. Common bugle calls include Reveille, Retreat, Taps, and To The Color

 

VOCALISTS

Vocalists from the USAF Heartland of America Band perform for official military functions, as well as major sporting and community events, providing an additional level of decorum and honor to these occasions.

 

INDIVIDUAL MUSICIANS

Individual musicians from the USAF Heartland of America Band are available for guest featured appearances with community musical organizations and educational institutions.  They can also provide masterclasses, clinics and presentations on a variety of related topics.
