Hana Hou!

Hana Hou is a ten member popular music ensemble of the United States Air Force Band of the Pacific Hawaii.

Hana Hou shows are specifically designed to create engaging moments that engage viewers and serve as a demonstration of the excellence displayed by PACAF’s 46,000 Airmen.  Our shows speak to common human emotions and provide listeners with a one-of-a-kind experience that goes far beyond a typical cover band.

Hana Hou’s highly trained and versatile musicians have performed across three continents in many major cities including Beijing, Tokyo, and Melbourne.

They have performed for such dignitaries as Prime Minister Abe of Japan and Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump.

Hana Hou performs in support of official military gatherings, Air Force recruiting, and community relations events.

Papana

Papana is a nine member jazz and Latin music ensemble of the United States Air Force Band of the Pacific.

Papana performs a wide range of musical styles including classic and contemporary jazz, Caribbean and South American music, and pop music of yesterday and today.

Papana has performed for many events across the Pacific including the Sitka Jazz Festival, Liberation Day in Guam and the Singapore International Air Show.

Papana's newest capability is Iki Ohana, a jazz trio which is utilized in smaller venues.

Small Kine

Small Kine is the unit's smaller popular music ensemble and has six members. Featuring guitar, ukulele, bass, cajón and vocals, their concerts are a mix of rock, pop, country and local favorites.

Small Kine has a very versatile repertoire and is a favorite among visiting dignitaries.

Because Small Kine leaves such a small footprint it is able to play in many places inaccessible to our larger ensembles such as Kwajalein Atoll, Wake Island and American Samoa.
