If you are interested in requesting a component of the U.S. Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) Band to provide musical support for your military or public event on the continent of Europe or Africa, the best way to start is by contacting our Director of Operations to find out if the band is available during the timeframe of your event.

Specific Information for International Civilian Sponsors:

Civilian sponsors must complete and submit a DD Form 2536, Request for Armed Forces Participation in Public Events (Non-Aviation). The USAFE Band Director of Operations can assist you in completing this form.  Civilian sponsors should submit their request to the band at least 90 days before the event.  The USAFE Band begins planning tours and performances as early as one year in advance.


Specific Information for U.S. Military or U.S. Government Sponsors:

In support of official military events, sponsors must submit an official memorandum or letter to the USAFE Band Director of Operations. To protect the integrity of prior commitments and maintain an efficient use of limited resources, military sponsors should submit their requests at least 60 days in advance.


Religious Facilities:

A religious facility is an authorized site for a public concert, when the event is of community-wide interest, non-sectarian, and broadly promoted.  USAFE Band concerts must not be part of a religious service.  A USAFE Band performance in a religious facility does not imply federal endorsement of any particular religion or ideology.
