ANG Band of the South

Concerts by the Band of the South typically include traditional concert band pieces, military marches, patriotic selections, jazz, rock and country western selections. The band has performed for the Air Force Thunderbirds, the Navy Blue Angels, numerous State of Tennessee Governor's Inaugural Ceremonies, as well as civilian and military performances in 21 states, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.

If you are interested in requesting a group for a performance in your area, please see the "Requesting a Performance" section below.

Air National Guard Bands are the active duty band's counterparts in the Air National Guard. ANG musicians are part-time guard members with full-time civilian careers. They rehearse and perform one weekend a month and perform an annual concert tour. ANG bands are a perfect opportunity for musicians who wish to serve their country on a part-time basis.
