Master Sergeant Lacey M. Stokes currently serves as Superintendent of Resources and Readiness, USAFBand of the Golden West, Travis Air Force Base, California. She provides policy advice, guidance, and recommendations on matters affecting the budget and resource acquisition and management. Additionally, she oversees fourteen functional areas and leads a 45-member team. MSgt Stokes enlisted in October of 2001 and began her career with the USAF Band of the West at Lackland Air Force Base. While serving as a Musical Craftsmen, she advanced Air Education and Training Command, Air Combat Command and global Air Force missions by providing professional musical products and services for official military, recruiting and community relations events. In 2007, MSgt Stokes performed throughout Southeast Asia and Africa in support of joint and coalition forces deployed to United States Central Command. She has held positions as Section Chief or Resources, Assistant Director of Operations, GPC Program Manager, Assistant Resource Advisor, and NCOIC of a small ensemble. Master Sergeant Stokes was selected as a Military Training Instructor in 2013 and was assigned to the 322nd Training Squadron following certification. In 2015, she was hand selected as an Instructor Supervisor for the 324th Training Squadron where she led a section of 11 Military Training Instructors and oversaw all components of training for 1,500 new Airmen per year. Prior to returning to her primary career field, she earned her AETC Master Instructor Badge and Master Military Training Instructor “Blue Rope”.
