Master Sergeant Michael Andrew is a tubist with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA.  Originally from Sterling Heights, Michigan, his Air Force career began in 1989 with the 555th Ohio Air National Guard Band, Toledo Express Airport, Toledo, OH.

Sergeant Andrew is a 1993 graduate of University of Michigan, where he earned a Bachelor's of Music Performance.  In 1995, he received a Master of Music in Music Performance from the University of Akron.  His teachers include Fritz Kaenzig, Tucker Jolly, Velvet Brown, Jeff Funderburk, Jeff Rideout, Jerry Young, and David Zerkel.  Sergeant Andrew has performed with guest artists such as Faith Hill, Wynonna Judd, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, and Crystal Gale.
