Master Sergeant Lisa A. Drefke

Master Sergeant Lisa A. Drefke serves as a trombonist for the Band of the Pacific-Asia as of November, 2016.

Originally hailing from Lakewood, Colorado, Sergeant Drefke pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to joining the Air Force, she performed with the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra, Fort Collins Symphony, and the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra. She also enjoyed being a freelance musician and was a member of the Jimmy B. Jazz Orchestra. In addition to her academic pursuits, Sergeant Drefke studied with renowned artists Edwin “Buddy” Baker, Nathaniel Wickham, and Gail Eugene Wilson.
