Staff Sergeant Kelcey McDonald serves as an Audio Engineer for the Band of the Pacific-Asia as of May 2015.

Joining the Air Force in February 2004, Sergeant Kelcey McDonald was assigned to the Heritage of America Band, Joint Base Langley Eustis, VA and served as the Assistant NCOIC of Supply and Unit Webmaster.  In May 2015, he was assigned to the Band of the Pacific Asia, Yokota AB where he serves as a Facility Manager and Emergency Management Representative.  While assigned to the Heritage of America Band, he participated in two deployments which supported Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Originally hailing from East St. Louis, IL, Sergeant McDonald pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Engineering Technology from Hampton University, Hampton, VA. Prior to joining the Air Force, he was an Adjunct Instructor for his Alma Mater and worked as a Master Control Operator for WVEC-TV13, Norfolk, VA. In addition to his academic pursuits, Sergeant Kelcey McDonald studied with Robert “Bob” Ransom, Master Sergeant, USAF, retired.
