The USAF Heritage of America Band provides musical support using a wide variety of ensembles and configurations, ranging in size from our largest group, the Concert Band, to Individual Musicians.  Many community events or official military functions utilize one of the ensembles listed below.  Simply click on the links to learn more.

The Blue Aces are 6 dynamic Airman-musicians who perform a diverse mix of today’s favorite artists (Kings of Leon, Imagine Dragons, Tori Kelly, Eric Church, etc.) and the old school rock and rhythm and blues of yesterday (ZZ Top, Stevie Wonder, Allman Brothers, The Beatles, etc.)  The band, comprised of a lead singer, two guitars, bass, drums, and audio engineer, enjoys bringing their high energy shows to a variety of audiences and settings throughout the Eastern United States.

The Blue Aces have deployed multiple times to Southwest Asia, supporting U.S. and Coalition Troops, while building international friendships. They have performed with numerous professional artists to include Jake Cinninger (Umphrey’s McGee) and Jeff “Skunk” Baxter (Steely Dan).

For six decades, the USAF Heritage of America Concert Band has educated, inspired and entertained over 1.5 million people annually, by providing music for events that support Airmen and their families, our Nation’s veterans and build relationships of trust between the American people and their Air Force. The Concert Band is comprised of over 40 professional Airman-musicians whocaptivate audiences on regular tours throughout the East Coast with a variety of renditions of great orchestral classics, marches, Broadway hits, jazz standards, movie music and patriotic favorites.

The band has appeared with many world-renowned artists, produced over 55 highly- acclaimed recordings and has performed at thousands of high-profile, community outreach and military events. The band's music is often heard on television, radio and the internet, and serves to communicate and convey Air Force core values of integrity, service and excellence to millions. These
achievements have earned the ensemble worldwide acclaim as well as military awards, including eight Air Force Outstanding Unit awards, three Colonel George S. Howard Citations of Musical Excellence for Military Concert Bands and numerous Mayoral Proclamations.

Through the universal language of music, we COMMUNICATE U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense messages, making lasting connections with our audiences. Our community and civic outreach performances serve to instill patriotism, build partnerships, enhance the reputation of the Air Force and the United States, and demonstrate American values to the world.

We HONOR all who have nobly served m the United States Armed Forces by commemorating the contributions of our nation's veterans - past and present - both at home and in deployed locations around the world.

We INSPIRE diverse audiences by displaying the highest level of professionalism, epitomizing military precision and excellence, telling the Air Force story and presenting the finest in musical culture and entertainment.

We serve as a dynamic element to RECRUIT our nation's best and brightest to serve in the United States Air Force. In partnership with Air Force Recruiting Service, we perform for events that generate interest and enthusiasm for military service.

Full Spectrum is a six piece electrifying, high energy “pop & hip-hop” band out of the USAF Heritage of America Band. This dynamic group of Active Duty musicians is assembled from areas throughout the U.S., but call Langley AFB, VA home. The band is made up of a lead singer, keyboards, guitar, bass, drums, and an audio engineer.

Their sound is a mix of “old school” hip-hop similar to artists like “Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five”, “Run-DMC”, and “The Beastie Boys,” and today’s pop music trends such as “Maroon Five”, “Macklemoore” and “The Weekend”. Their musical influence stems from their main mission of reaching this generation’s youth and young adults.

Full Spectrum’s roots originate from the spring of 2013. The band was created specifically for a deployment to Southwest Asia. In the fall of 2015, they completed a second deployment where they spent months performing in forward operating locations for U.S. and Coalition Troops and building International friendships. Each time they have brought back their deployed experiences to audiences throughout the East Coast from South Carolina to Maine.  Some of the band’s career highlights include a feature on the Conan O’Brien show, opening for ZZTOP at the NASCAR Coca Cola 600, Air Force Birthday celebration performance at the NY Yankees game, the 2015 Preakness Stakes, game 6 of the 2013 World Series, and the 2012 Pro Bowl.

These musicians exemplify the excellence and professionalism found in today’s top musical artists. What’s makes them ultra-unique is that they are full time active duty United States Air Force members. These Airman-musicians exemplify the excellence and professionalism found throughout the United States Air Force and deliver that message in a way that is exciting and engaging for all audiences.

The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band is proud to present Heritage Brass, a pioneering symphonic brass ensemble. Bringing the military tradition of brass, percussion, and vocals to the concert stage, Heritage Brass presents programs that are both exhilarating and intimate.

Representing Air Force professionals serving across the globe, Heritage Brass showcases the service’s excellence and precision in every performance throughout the eastern seaboard, from South Carolina to Maine. Comprised of ten brass players, a percussionist, and vocalist, the ensemble maintains a rigorous performance schedule presenting a diverse repertoire featuring orchestral transcriptions, patriotic favorites, jazz standards, new compositions and distinctive arrangements. Whether performing in a concert hall, an educational venue, a large sporting event, or in support of a military function, their innovative approach allows them to perform both as a large symphonic group and an intimate chamber ensemble.

As professional Airman-musicians, Heritage Brass is committed to inspiring our American public, communicating our Air Force Core Values, and honoring our nation’s veteran’s through the power of music. Heritage Winds is the woodwind quintet component of the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band. As professional Airman-musicians, the members of Heritage Winds are dedicated to using the power of music to honor our veterans, inspire patriotism, communicate the Air Force story, and recruit those who are interested in serving our nation.

Heritage Winds offers innovative programming that covers a wide array of musical styles. The ensemble embraces the full range of the quintet repertoire, while also exploring various instrument combinations. The creative use of ensemble and instrumentation, combined with new arrangements and compositions, ensures that Heritage Winds provides audiences with a unique concert experience.


The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band is proud to present Rhythm in Blue, the unit’s dynamic new jazz ensemble. This sleek, 13-member group presents exciting and uplifting music to inspire patriotism and tell the Air Force story. Made up of outstanding Air Force enlisted professional musicians, Rhythm in Blue takes great pride in preserving America’s uniquely original art form, recruiting a new generation of listeners, and representing all Airmen. From formal concerts in grand auditoriums to casual shows in the park, Rhythm in Blue is in constant demand traveling throughout the Eastern United States, performing for diverse audiences from Maine to South Carolina.

The high level of talent showcased by each member of Rhythm in Blue enables the group to perform with unparalleled excitement and versatility. With their extensive repertoire highlighting instrumental and vocal soloists, Rhythm in Blue makes lasting connections with audiences of all ages.  Rhythm in Blue honors our American military veterans for their selfless sacrifice at every performance, and shares the message of excellence, courage and commitment displayed every day by the brave men and women of the United States Air Force, serving throughout the world.

The American Clarinet Quartet provides virtuosic and enthusiastic performances for audiences from South Carolina to Maine. Drawing on years of professional experience, these four accomplished musicians present an exciting and polished program that captivates audiences of all ages. Providing musical support for a wide variety of military and civilian functions, the group features musicians that have studied and performed at the highest levels throughout the United States. The American Clarinet Quartet ‘s diverse repertoire includes traditional classical repertoire, rousing patriotic marches, Klezmer music, Broadway, Jazz, Latin and South American music, as well as their own original arrangements. The group also excels in the educational environment, regularly reaching out to America's young music students, offering concerts, clinics and masterclasses in clarinet chamber repertoire and instrumental technique.
