CONCERT BAND
The Concert Band
 is comprised of nearly 50 musicians and is the largest performing ensemble within the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West.  It has performed for thousands of listeners in live concert appearances and for millions worldwide via its numerous recordings and television and radio broadcasts. The Ceremonial Marching Band 
participates in official military ceremonies, military and civilian parades, and patriotic events for the general public.

The band's stirring renditions of military and patriotic music, as well as traditional marches, complements its impressive precision marching style. Among its many appearances, the band's recent highlights include patriotic game openings for the San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics, as well as leading the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade - an honor accorded them five times and viewed worldwide by millions: in January of 1997, 2000, 2003, 2017, and most recently in 2022. More...

Mobility

BRASS QUINTET
Travis Brass
 and Golden West Brass are brass quintets comprised of two trumpets, a French horn, trombone or euphonium, and a tuba. One of the Band of the Golden West's most flexible ensemble formations, the brass quintets excel at community recitals, education/recruitment outreach, anthems at sporting events, and outdoor military ceremonies and honors. The Golden West Winds
 and Sierra Winds are part of the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West from Travis Air Force Base, California. Comprised of flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn, and bassoon, this flexible ensemble supports a wide variety of musical events ranging from military ceremonies and patriotic shows to educational programs and recitals of original works for woodwind quintet.
