Concert Band 

The Concert Band, comprised of all members, is the 531st Band's principle ensemble. This component performs various types of concerts throughout the year from formal military events to casual concerts in the park. Its annual tours have taken the band through the United States and many foreign locations. A full range of band repertoire is performed at each concert appearance, from military marches and patriotic selections, to Broadway show tunes, movie themes and timeless concert literature.

 


 Jazz Bandphoto of Jazz Band

The Jazz Band performs a collection of big band and jazz repertoire from the Glenn Miller era to the hot, new styling of today's latest jazz composers. Performing for dances, festivals, banquets and other notable venues. The group has been well received by audiences from sea to shining sea.

 


Brass Quintet
The Brass Quintet performs at formal military functions, welcoming home ceremonies and community relations activities. The repertoire consists of patriotic fanfares, traditional American classics and old-time favorites.

 


Air Lift

Airlift is a high-energy country-rock band that performs yesterday's hits and today's favorites for protocol functions, award banquets, dinners, dances and special events. This ensemble made its debut at the prestigious Order of the Sword ceremony in Oklahoma in September of 2012.

 


Wild West Woodwind Quintet                                            

The woodwind quintet is one of the most versatile small ensembles in the 531st Air Force Band. The group's repertoire includes classical, jazz and contemporary music which showcases its musical diversity.

 


Saxophone Quartet

The Saxophone Quartet performs ensemble music for military and civilian audiences alike. This quartet includes all the members of the saxophone family and delights audiences with show tunes, jazz standards, patriotic selections, and the classics.
