Members of the newly-formed Langley Air Force Base Drone club spend time building parts for recreational drone use.  The new club meets every Wednesday over lunch, at the Community Commons on Langley AFB.  Club members will receive an introduction to the hobby, and will learn essential skills for building and flying a drone, as well as advice on how to prepare for the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) new knowledge test for operators of small unmanned aircraft.

Members of the USAF Heritage of America Band's popular music ensemble, Full Spectrum, entertain High School students, while on a recent tour. Full Spectrum is a six piece electrifying, high energy “pop & hip-hop” band made up of a lead singer, keyboards, guitar, bass, drums, and an audio engineer.  Their sound is a mix of “old school” hip-hop similar to artists like “Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five”, “Run-DMC”, and “The Beastie Boys,” and today’s pop music trends such as “Maroon Five”, “Macklemoore” and “The Weekend”. Their musical influence stems from their main mission of reaching this generation’s youth and young adults.  (USAF Photo - Released)
