Airman First Class Sierra Bailey, Vocals

Airman First Class Sierra Bailey performs as a vocalist in the United States Air Force Heartland of America Band, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. In addition to her musical duties, she serves in the unit's Public Affairs section.

Airman Bailey was born in Okinawa, Japan and as a military dependent traveled overseas for much of her youth. She graduated from Ramstein High School, Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany in 2008.


In 2014, Airman Bailey earned a Bachelor of Music degree with emphasis in Music Marketing from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). A student of Dr. Gary Mabry, she competed in numerous vocal competitions and was a finalist in the South Texas Region of the 2013 National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition. She was also selected to participate in a master class with American Opera singer Mardi Byers her senior year. As a music marketing student, she helped produce and market a number of concerts at UTSA by such artists as Dave Damiani, Ernie Halter, and Mother Falcon.
