U.S. Air Force Academy Band

Due to the uncertainty regarding COVID-19, the Department of the Air Force is suspending public outreach activities and support to community events. This includes band performances. We apologize for the inconvenience and will attempt to reschedule public concerts as Air Force policy and the Academy Band schedule allow.

A crowd of 6,000 celebrated the Fourth of July with the Air Force Academy Band at the Dillon Amphitheater in Dillon, CO in 2019. The Concert Band helps over 6,000 Coloradans celebrate our nation on Independence Day in Dillon, CO.

The Academy Band's Ceremonial Marching Band performs at the opening ceremony for the 2018 Warrior Games in Colorado Springs, a competition for wounded servicemembers dedicated to enhancing and supporting their recovery.

A new Concert Band premiere: "My Country 'Tis of Thee"

Veterans Day is about celebrating our great nation, the ideals upon which it was founded, and the heroes who protect the freedoms we cherish. The United States Air Force Academy Band was recently joined by the Colorado Springs Chorale for the world premiere of a brilliant arrangement by Mr. Dan Forrest, commissioned in honor of our Armed Forces. We dedicate this video of the performance to all those, past and present, who willingly sacrifice themselves to serve.

Connecting communities with their military

Academy Band ensembles like Wild Blue Country use music of all genres to strengthen the bonds between the Air Force and our nation's communities.

Performing over 450 services annually
