Academy Winds honored at traditional Navajo Gourd Dance with Navajo Code Talkers
Academy Winds from the United States Air Force Academy poses with Navajo Code Talker Dave Patterson and Navajo tribal elder Michael Warren. Academy Winds participated in the Gourd Dance hosted at the Navajo Nation Reservation in Shiprock, NM, on Veterans Day to honor veterans from a number of Native American tribes, some from as far away as Oklahoma.
