The U.S. Air Force Academy Band will present their annual Armed Forces Week Concert on May 4, 7 p.m. at the Pikes Peak Center. At this performance, the USAFA Band will be joined by members of The West Point Band from the U.S. Military Academy and the U.S. Naval Academy Band.
Join us for a powerful musical tribute commemorating America’s 250th Anniversary and celebrating Armed Forces Day! Forged in Fire reflects on the enduring spirit that has shaped our nation and honors those who continue to defend it today. The program will honor each of the branches of the United States Armed Services and include a special tribute to our home state and National Guard as the state of Colorado’s celebrates its 150th anniversary this year. Additionally, we will recognize the 2026 nominees for the Colorado Springs Military Affairs Council’s Outstanding Enlisted Awards!
For more than 60 years, the band has used music to honor veterans, motivate Air Force and Space Force members, create groundbreaking musical experiences, and showcase their excellence to a global audience.
All Air Force Band events are free and open to the public. No tickets are required for this concert.
