Specific Information for International Civilian Sponsors:

Civilian sponsors must complete and submit a DD Form 2536, Request for Armed Forces Participation in Public Events (Non-Aviation). The USAFE Band Director of Operations can assist you in completing this form. Civilian sponsors should submit their request to the band at least 90 days before the event. The USAFE Band begins planning tours and performances as early as one year in advance.

Specific Information for U.S. Military or U.S. Government Sponsors:

In support of official military events, sponsors must submit an official memorandum or letter to the USAFE Band Director of Operations. To protect the integrity of prior commitments and maintain an efficient use of limited resources, military sponsors should submit their requests at least 60 days in advance.

Religious Facilities:

A religious facility is an authorized site for a public concert, when the event is of community-wide interest, non-sectarian, and broadly promoted. USAFE Band concerts must not be part of a religious service. A USAFE Band performance in a religious facility does not imply federal endorsement of any particular religion or ideology.

Ceremonial Band

The USAFE Ceremonial Band is renowned for showcasing the vibrant spirit of the "Air Force Blue" throughout the world. Providing full musical honors, their dignified presence lends distinction and nobility to traditional military ceremonies. By switching gears to show a lighter side of the uniform, they also reach millions of worldwide spectators annually, in the streets of extravagant parades, and on the fields of prestigious marching band festivals. As American military diplomats, the USAFE Ceremonial Band elicits pride and solidarity through their distinctive blend of precision and entertainment, fostering cultural relations and promoting American partnership across the globe.

Concert Band

The USAFE Concert Band brings the sound of America to the world’s finest concert halls and outdoor amphitheaters, delighting audiences with the diverse stylistic heritage of American concert music. Their shows feature a grandiose mix of musical stylings, including the likes of Aaron Copland’s breathtaking symphonic works, John Williams’ exciting Hollywood soundtracks, John Philip Sousa’s patriotic marches, and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s timeless Broadway show tunes. As American musical ambassadors, the USAFE Concert Band touches hearts worldwide through the international language of music, fostering cultural relations and promoting American partnership across the globe.

The Ambassadors

The Ambassadors keep alive the legacy of Major Glenn Miller and his World War II era “Army Air Corps Band.” With masterful reproductions of American “Big Band” swing classics, The Ambassadors have delighted international audiences for decades, transporting listeners of all ages back to the golden years of American music. They’ll have you ready to Lindy-Hop all over again!

Touch 'n Go

Touch 'n Go is a dynamic pop/rock band that dazzles international crowds and invigorates U.S. and allied troops stationed all around the world. Delivering a high-energy stage show, the band covers today's chart-topping hits, alongside favorites from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. They aim to keep the world rocking with a show geared toward today's younger generation, and all of those who are forever young at heart!

Wings of Swing

Wings of Swing is an exciting musical group that epitomizes “Americana” in every performance. Their music draws from a wide spectrum of classic American music, with a healthy dose of New Orleans flair. Serving up a lively mix of hot jazz and cool blues with memorable rock & roll hits, they aim to instill every audience member’s heart with a taste of old-fashioned American spirit!

Winds Aloft

Winds Aloft is the woodwind quintet of the United States Air Forces in Europe Band. All five members have received training at highly-esteemed music schools across the globe. The group performs in diverse venues throughout Europe and Africa for audiences comprised of students, military leadership, ambassadors, and dignitaries. Winds Aloft’s large classically-based repertoire extends from Mozart to Marches, Broadway, and Jazz.

Five Star Brass

Five Star Brass is the Brass Quintet of the United States Air Forces in Europe Band. This 6-member group of professional musicians includes two trumpets, French horn, trombone, tuba and percussion. The Five Star Brass aims to provide professional and versatile programs for diverse audiences by sharing the music of America with communities throughout 104 countries in Europe and America. Their performances bring people together by transcending language and cultural barriers through ceremonial music, educational programs, & entertaining public performances. These musicians proudly serve as musical ambassadors representing not only the United States, but also the skill and professionalism of its Air Force.

Allied Winds

Allied Winds is one of several chamber music ensembles within the United States Air Forces in Europe Band. Supporting ceremonies, military and state functions, educational and community relations missions, this highly-skilled ensemble embraces traditional quartet literature as well as light popular and jazz styles.
