The appointment of Lieutenant Colonel Sierichs to command The USAF Band opens a new chapter for an organization rich in history and heritage. He becomes only the twelfth commander in the history of the Band, with a career that has spanned the enlisted and officer ranks. The men and women of The United States Air Force Band proudly welcome Lieutenant Colonel Alan Sierichs. We look forward to serving with him, and using our musical talents to represent the U. S.
