Final Approach participates in Joint Concert with local Japanese musicians in Fussa, Japan

Final Approach performed with local Japanese high school students in a joint concert consisting of four choirs, horn players from Fussa wind ensemble, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Fussa high school rock band. The theme was “Melody Line Connecting Hearts”. Each group performed individually and everyone came together to perform the final selection “We Are the World”. This event was a great way to enhance the relations and partnership that Yokota AB, and Fussa City/ local neighboring cities have shared over the past 50 years. NCOIC of Final Approach MSgt Packard had this to say about the event, “This was a great opportunity to interact with our local neighbors, and share the importance of Yokota’s mission to the Japanese people.”
