Brass in Blue Performs at Inauguration Ceremony for Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf Published Jan. 21, 2015 By SrA Jeremy Carles ANG Band of the Northeast HARRISBURG, PA -- Brass in Blue had the honor of performing at the inauguration of Gov. Tom Wolf, Pennsylvania's 47th governor, in Harrisburg, Pa. on Tuesday, Jan. 20. The brass quintet played numerous patriotic selections for the large crowd, which included four former governors, several members of the U.S. house and senate as well as delegates of the state house and senate assembly. "Brass in Blue was honored to perform for the inauguration of PA's 47th governor," TSgt. Andy Lowe, the groups non-commissioned officer in charge, said. "The stellar musicianship of all five members of the group lead to a successful mission as we were heard nationally on CSPAN-3." The ceremony, which was held outside of the capitol building's east wing, also aired on the Pennsylvania Cable Network. Thousands more chose to witness the spectacle in person despite the chilly temperatures and threat of rain or snow.
