"The only thing that is constant is change."--Heraclitus

The pre-Socratic Greek philosopher Heraclitus was a wise man indeed, and here at The United States Air Force Band we take his words to heart.  While our mission remains constant to honor those who have served, inspire American citizens, and positively impact the global community. However, the schedule that we keep to achieve that mission can often be more fluid.  With that in mind, here are some updates regarding the Band's involvement with and appearances at this year's Super Bowl celebrations. Max Impact will appear at the FanFest at Scottsdale Fashion Square in Scottsdale, Ariz.,every day from Monday, Jan. 26 to Thursday, Jan. 29. Performances included an opening national anthem and four public concerts. The premier rock band of the United States Air Force will also present a concert on Sunday, Feb.1, Super Bowl Sunday, at the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale, Ariz., at 11 a.m.

The Ceremonial Brass, having performed flawlessly at the Pro Bowl on Jan. 25, will  duplicate that same precision during the presentation of the colors and national anthem at the Super Bowl on Feb. 1. Both Max Impact and the Ceremonial Brass have also been leading various Advancing Innovation through Music (AIM) events at various local schools throughout the week. Each event allows them the opportunity to interact with local students and educators promoting music education and inspire young people (and their teachers) to hone their abilities and enrich their lives and the lives of others with the gift of music. If you are so lucky to live in the Scottsdale/Glendale area or have tickets to the big game, stop by to see Max Impact inspire the fans before kickoff!
