Throughout the months of June, July and August, the Band's performing ensembles present free, outdoor concerts at historic venues around our nation's capital. You can find us at the west steps of the U.S. Capitol every Tuesday evening, the National Sylvan Theater (by the Washington Monument) on Wednesday evenings (except July 1), and the U.S. Air Force Memorial every Friday evening. Additional performances occur at outdoor venues throughout the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area.

Join us for an exciting season filled with music from America and from around the world. From our opening Concert Band and Singing Sergeants performance, "From Sea to Shining Sea" with Conductor Emeritus Col. Arnald Gabriel, to Celtic Aire's "From D.C. to Dublin," to "Battle Royale-the Count meets the Duke" courtesy of the Airmen of Note, there is sure to be a musical presentation to please every aesthetic palate.

The pinnacle of our Summer Concert Series, as always, is celebrating Independence Day. This year the Airmen of Note will perform "A Big Band Fireworks Spectacular!" at the U.S. Air Force Memorial. Meanwhile, the Ceremonial Brass, Concert Band and Singing Sergeants will travel to New York City to appear on Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. That performance will be broadcast nationwide on NBC. So, check your local listings and be sure to tune in to join us as we celebrate America's birthday!  Complete concert listings can be found on our events calendar.  Enjoy free performances by our Airmen musicians throughout the summer.  We can't wait to share the beautiful gift of music, and we look forward to seeing you!

One last, but important, note: outdoor concerts are subject to weather cancellation. For up-to-the-minute information, call (202) 767-5658 or watch the Band's Twitter feed and Facebook posts on Facebook or the Band's homepage.
