The U.S. Air Force Band now on SoundCloud Published May 29, 2015 By MSgt Brian Davis Washington, D.C. -- The U.S. Air Force Band is pleased to announce that our recording catalog can now be found on SoundCloud. This strategic move will increase our reach throughout the local and global community as we fulfill our mission to positively impact the global community on behalf of the U.S. Air Force and the United States of America. Our squadron has a long and proud history of recordings. Over the years, we've produced recordings on vinyl LPs (records), cassette tapes and compact discs. Sharing our recording catalog and reaching our newer digital audience has been a challenge, but as technologies change and improve, things do get easier. If you download the SoundCloud app from the Google Play Store or iTunes Store, you can now listen to us on your mobile devices as often as you would like. Our albums will be in a playlist format, but you can create your own playlists from any of our content on SoundCloud. You'll easily be able to share your favorite songs (or playlists) on all the social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. So download the mobile app and listen to all your favorite tunes from the Air Force Strings, Airmen of Note, Concert Band, Max Impact and Singing Sergeants tunes. You might even find a little bagpipe and Celtic music. We have posted more than 1,400 songs, and we are confident you'll find something you like!
