WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio - Tickets will be available Nov. 21 for the United States Air Force Band of Flight free annual holiday concerts at the Dayton Masonic Center.

Concerts are scheduled for Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m.; Dec. 10 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Dec. 11 at 3 p.m.

The theme of this year's concerts is "The Gifts We Give." The Band of Flight and Dayton Masonic Center have presented the annual holiday concerts for more than 20 years. Traditional songs of the season will be presented by a variety of ensembles from the Band of Flight, including the Concert Band and Night Flight jazz ensemble.

This year the Band of Flight will be partnering with Pontecorvo Ballet Studios and Gem City Ballet to perform selections from "The Nutcracker."

There will be something for everyone at these concerts, to include vocal selections and a sing-a-long. Video clips from deployed service members will also be shared throughout the concert.

Though free events, tickets are required and will be available to the Wright-Patterson community at two ticket distribution centers around the base. For tickets, please contact the Aeronautical Systems Center Chief of Staff's office (Area B), 5-1936; or the 88th Air Base Wing Public Affairs office (Area A), 2-3252. There is a limit of four tickets per person.

Members of the general public who would like tickets should look for an ad in the Dayton Daily News "Go" section on Nov. 18. Individuals can fill out the form and send it in with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to request tickets.
