The USAF Academy Band’s Public Concert in Trenton, New Jersey Published Oct. 10, 2008 By SMSgt Larry Hill The USAF Academy Band Trenton, NJ -- The Academy band performed Thursday night, October 9th in Patriots Theater, Memorial Hall in Trenton, New Jersey. The audience of over 1500 people enjoyed the world premier performance of United Artists for band by Kenneth Fuchs. MSgt Randy Schneider performed Nathaniel Shilkret's Concerto for Trombone and TSgt Ani Berberian was featured on Messager's Solo de Concours. The band invited six students from Trenton area high schools to perform Quality Plus March. These students were Daniel Povio, Matthew Kanoc, Daniel Oliva and Rebecca Komperud all students of Stephanie Giunta and Michael Anzuini at Steinert High School. They were joined by Molly Fuller and Joseph Ketterer, students of Charles Megules at Nottingham High School. The students were hand-picked by their band directors to perform with the band. The Band continues its tour with performances in Stroudsburg, PA Friday and Beacon, NY Saturday.
