On Sunday, November 11, the United States Air Force Ceremonial Brass performed at the football game between the Washington Redskins and the Philadelphia Eagles. The band was featured during the halftime festivities at FedEx Field in Landover, Md.

Several Purple Heart recipients, including Staff Sergeant Huey Harris of Dover AFB, were honored during the special Veterans Day tribute. The Secretary of the Air Force, the honorable Michael W. Wynne, and the Commandant of the Marine Corps, General James T. Conway, were also in attendance.

The military members were greeted with enthusiastic shouts of "Thank you!" and "You make us proud!"

"It was truly one of the proudest moments of my 21-year career," remarked Chief Master Sgt. Ed Teleky, Drum Major of the Ceremonial Brass.

The band performed "God Bless America", "America the Beautiful" and "The Air Force Song" before the full-capacity audience of over 90,000.
