Every year, The United States Air Force Band's Chamber Players Series draws vocalists and instrumentalists from every performing ensemble of the organization. Featuring soloists and small ensembles, these free recitals provide Washington, D.C., audiences a wonderful opportunity to enjoy performances of the finest music from the genres of classical chamber music, jazz and country.

In February, there will be several opportunities to see one of these chamber ensembles in an intimate setting.

Three concerts will take place at the George Washington Masonic Memorial, located at 101 Callahan Drive, Alexandria, Va. On Friday, February 12, the concert will feature music for tuba and euphonium. On February 19, there will be an entire program of music for brass. Finally, on February 26, the program will feature music for flute, clarinet, and cello--performed by Master Sgts. Stacy Ascione and Julianna Arnold, as well as Technical Sgt. Joshua Kowalsky. These three concerts will begin at 8 p.m.

On Thursday, February 18, Senior Master Sgt. Andy Wilson and Master Sgt. Brian Sands will present an evening of trumpet and tuba. This concert will take place at the John Addison Concert Hall in Harmony Hall Regional Center located at 10701 Livingston Road in Ft. Washington, Md. This performance will take place at 8 p.m.

On Sunday, February 21, Technical Sgt. Nathan Wisniewski will perform a recital featuring music for violin and piano. This concert will take place at the Lyceum, located at 201 S. Washington Street, Alexandria, Va. This program will begin at 4 p.m.

Chamber Players Series concerts are presented from September through May in metropolitan Washington, D.C., venues, including the White House Visitor Center, the Millennium Stage at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Harmony Hall Regional Center, Montgomery College and the George Washington Masonic National Memorial.
