It's hard to believe that summer is almost upon us, and with it returns a time-honored tradition in the National Capitol Region--the Summer Concert Series. The USAF Band will present programs throughout the months of June, July and August at the Air Force Memorial and at the west terrace of U.S. Capitol. The concerts, which are free and open to the public, will begin at 8 p.m.

The programs at the U.S. Capitol will be on Tuesdays, with on-street parking available after 6:30 p.m. The closest Metro stops are the Capitol South and Smithsonian stations.

Performances at the Air Force Memorial will take place on Wednesdays and Fridays, with free lot parking available on Columbia Pike directly across from the memorial.

Each concert will feature one of the performing units of the Band--The Singing Sergeants, Airmen of Note, Concert Band, Air Force Strings, or Max impact. Every program will have a wide variety of music that is sure to please anyone!

So whether it's to enjoy a beautiful view of the nation's monuments from the Air Force Memorial, or if it's simply to relax at the hallowed grounds of the U.S. Capitol, we hope that you will spend part of your summer with us!
