The final month of the 2010 Summer Concert Series has something for everyone! You can still catch one of the Band's performing units at the Air Force Memorial on Wednesday and Friday evenings and at the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday evenings. Concerts at both locations begin at 8:00 p.m., and are free and open to the public.

The Airmen of Note will perform a special joint service jazz program alongside the Army Blues and the Navy Commodores. The concert will take place at the Carter Baron Amphitheatre in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, August 15, at 7:30 p.m. The event, part of the fourth annual Joint Service Jazz Festival, is sure to be a remarkable evening of big band jazz.

The Note will also be featured in a special performance on Saturday, August 21, at the Reston Town Center in Reston, Va. The free concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The Concert Band will present two special programs in addition to the regular Summer Series performances. On Saturday, August 14, the Concert Band will perform at the Sean T. Connaughton Community Plaza, located at 1 County Complex Court in Woodbridge, Va. The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m.

There will also be a special performance by the Concert Band on Friday, August 20, at the Hagerstown Community College Amphitheatre, located at 11400 Robinwood Dr., in Hagerstown, Md. This performance will take place at 6:00 p.m.

All concerts are free and open to the public, with no tickets required. You can find the complete calendar here. See you in August!
