The U.S. Air Force Band's Ceremonial Brass, under the direction of Maj. Scott Guidry, performed the arrival and wreath laying ceremonies for the Commander of the Israeli Air Force, Maj. Gen. Ido Nehushtan. Held at the Air Force Memorial in Arlington, Va., the arrival ceremony was hosted by Gen. Norman Schwartz, Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force.

Arrival ceremonies serve to welcome distinguished foreign visitors to the U.S., as well as showcase the precision and excellence of the U.S. military, as represented in this ceremony by The United States Air Force Band and Honor Guard. The wreath laying ceremony was held later the same day at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery. The ceremony began with the playing of the Israeli and U.S. national anthems, and concluded with "Muffled Ruffles" and "Taps" performed by Technical Sgts. Brian Mann and Matt Misener.

The Ceremonial Brass provides musical support for over 1100 missions a year including funerals at Arlington National Cemetery, state arrivals at the White House, full honor arrivals for foreign dignitaries, retirements, changes of command, awards ceremonies and patriotic programs.
