Wyatt Hatch

Airman First Class Wyatt Hatch joined the Band of the West as a percussionist in October of 2025. Originally from Tampa, Florida, A1C Hatch earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and continued his education at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music where he received his master’s degree. His teachers include Bob McCormick, Dr. Jacob Kight, Dr. Kevin von Kampen, Jim Culley, Dr. Adam Groh, Jim Feist, and Rusty Burge. Outside of his role with the band, A1C Hatch enjoys playing electric bass, teaching high school percussion, and playing tabla.

2023 – Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance, University of South Florida
2025 – Master of Music in Percussion Performance, University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM)
