Master Sergeant JIMMY WEBER

Master Sergeant Jimmy Weber is the First Sergeant for the United States Air Force Heartland of America Band, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. As First Sergeant, he exercises general supervision over all assigned enlisted personnel and is the personal advisor to the commander for all matters concerning enlisted members. He is also guitarist and vocalist with The Noteables jazz ensemble.

Sergeant Weber grew up in Alexandria, S.D., and entered the Air Force in July 1987. During his career, he has performed for the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, the Secretary of the Air Force and the Governors of Nebraska, Alaska and South Dakota. He was a member of the Desert Band, the only Air Force Band to perform throughout the entire theater of operations during Operation Desert Shield. Other Air Force musical highlights include an appearance on the Nashville Network's, "Nashville Now," and shows with John Denver, LeAnn Rimes and the Beach Boys.

Sergeant Weber has performed as opening act for Tim McGraw, Clint Black, Kenny Rogers and Sara Evans. He has volunteered with both the USO and Stars for Stripes, traveling with Wayne Newton, Neil McCoy, Jolie Edwards, Craig Morgan and the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, performing for our troops in Iraq, Kuwait and Bahrain.
