Airman 1st Class David Heyn

A1C David Heyn is the bassist for the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. His responsibilities include performing in the band’s rock ensemble and jazz combo.
 
A1C Heyn entered the Air Force in January of 2025. Upon completion of Basic Military Training, he was assigned to the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
 
Prior to enlisting in the Air Force, A1C Heyn earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Performance (Jazz Concentration) from Texas State University in 2024 and was a freelance bassist and educator in the Central Texas area.
