Airman First Class (A1C) Christopher Hall serves as a tubist for the Heritage of America Band. A native of Northumberland County, Virginia, A1C Hall received his high school diploma from the Interlochen Arts Academy in Interlochen, Michigan, then pursued his Bachelor's in Music at the University of Michigan where he studied with Professor Fritz Kaenzig and David Zerkel. During his time at Michigan, he won the Principal Tuba position with the Adrian Symphony Orchestra in Adrian, Michigan. He also performed on Grammy-Nominated Sila: Breath of the World with Doug Perkins, Musicians of the University of Michigan Department of Chamber Music, and the University of Michigan Percussion Ensemble, for Best Orchestral Performance.
After graduating from the University of Michigan, A1C Hall attended graduate school at the University of Miami Frost School of Music for his Master in Music under Dr. Aaron Tindall and the Herbert School of Business for his Master in Science in Business Leadership. During his time in Florida, he performed with the Sarasota Orchestra.
A1C Hall enlisted in May of 2024 with the USAF Heritage of America Band and has performed for military and civilian audiences across the east coast. Some memorable performances include promotion and change-of-command ceremonies attended by the Commander of Air Combat Command, General Kenneth Wilsbach, and the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force, David Flosi, performing at the 2024 Miami Dolphins Military Appreciation Halftime Show with the Air Force Band of the West, performing for the 7th-inning stretch for the 2024 NLDS Mets-Phillies game, and going on tour across the mid-Atlantic and New England with the Heritage Brass Ensemble and Heritage of America Concert Band.
