Airman 1st Class Aimee Banister

A1C Aimee Banister is a bass player with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA. She entered active-duty service January 2024 and has been assigned to the band since March 2024.

Originally from Edmond, Oklahoma, Airman Banister graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma where she earned a Master of Jazz Studies – Commercial Music Production. Her primary mentors were Jeff Kidwell and Lee Rucker. Before starting her Air Force career, Airman Banister was an active performer and teacher in the Oklahoma City Area.
