Senior Airman Nina Sophia Pacheco is a vocalist with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis Air Force Base, CA, where she also serves as a graphic designer in the unit’s marketing shop. Originally from Clifton, NJ, her Air Force career began in 2019 with the Air National Guard Band of the South. After switching to Active Duty, Travis AFB is her first assignment.
SrA Pacheco is a 2013 graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), New York, NY, where she earned her accreditation in Integrated Theatre Performance. In 2025, she received an Associate’s Degree in Communications from State Fair Community College, Sedalia, MO. Her career has spanned performances across the United States with various theatre companies as an award-winning actress and performer. She is also an accomplished songwriter whose credits include composing and performing original music for two personal albums, two short films, a feature film, and most recently, a new play.
During her Air Force career, she has been featured in the Air Force Artisans documentary series, performed for the CMSAF and CMSSF, and performed at the 2026 National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) conference in Anaheim, CA.
