Technical Sergeant Kristen Holritz

Technical Sgt. Kristen Holritz is a flutist with the Concert Band. Originally from Round Rock, Texas, she joined The United States Air Force Band in 2024.

Prior to joining the Air Force, Sgt. Holritz served as principal flute of the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera. She has also performed with the Nashville, Alabama, Knoxville, Memphis, Hilton Head, and Iris Symphony Orchestras. Sgt.Holritz has been featured as a concerto soloist with the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera, Lee University Symphony Orchestra, Southern Adventist University Orchestra, University of Georgia Symphony Orchestra, University of North Carolina School of the Arts Symphony Orchestra, and with The United States Air Force Band as a winner of the 2005 Col. George S. Howard Young Artist Competition.

A 2009 graduate of University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Sgt. Holritz received a Bachelor of Music degree in flute performance. She then earned a Master of Music degree in flute performance from The Juilliard School in 2011. Her primary teachers include Tadeu Coelho, Robert Langevin, Gretchen Pusch, and Angela Jones-Reus
