Airman First Class Tyler Frueh is a native of Augusta, Kansas. He studied music education with an emphasis on instrumental music at Wichita State University. In April of 2024, he joined the United States Air Force and was assigned to the Band of the West at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Prior to his military service, A1C Frueh was in a classically driven saxophone quartet, played in local theater productions, and was a jazz freelancer. He also went to culinary school and had a small ice cream business, which provided the highlighted dessert for a dinner theater in Wichita (his two favorite flavors to make are peanut butter and dark chocolate rum cake). In his free time A1C Frueh enjoys spending time with his wife, cooking opulent foods, and practicing his saxophone.
