Senior Airman Tyler Frueh

Senior Airman Tyler Frueh is a saxophonist with the United States Air Force Band of the Pacific, Yokota Air Base, Japan. A native of Augusta, Kansas, he studied music education with an emphasis on instrumental music at Wichita State University. In April of 2024, he joined the United States Air Force and was assigned to the Band of the West at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Prior to his military service, SrA Frueh was in a classically driven saxophone quartet, played in local theater productions, and was a jazz freelancer. He also went to culinary school and had a small ice cream business, which provided the highlighted dessert for a dinner theater in Wichita (his two favorite flavors to make are peanut butter and dark chocolate rum cake).
