Airman 1st Class (A1C) Chloe Yoon was born and educated in Seoul, South Korea. She is a pianist with the United States Air Force (USAF) Heritage of America Band and performs with the Full Spectrum Rock Band and Jazz Combo.
Before joining the Air Force, A1C Yoon was a highly motivated and versatile songwriter, and her original songs are featured in various Korean variety shows and K-dramas. She has much experience playing music on big stages, such as the Olympics and TV shows. She has worked with the 8th Army Band, the 25th Army Band and the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific Band.
A1C Yoon often finds herself approached by students from different nationalities, curious about her journey into the Air Force. She sees these moments as valuable opportunities to share her story and demystify the process, making the path to service feel more accessible and relatable. During a tour of Historically Black College Universities, Yoon worked one-on-one with three students in a master class format. It proved to be a rewarding experience, highlighting how impactful both her performances and outreach efforts could be.
