Senior Airman Emily Marshall serves as a vocalist with the United States Air Force Band of the West at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. As a Regional Band Vocalist, she performs throughout the United States and abroad in support of Air Force recruiting, troop morale, community engagement, and public trust initiatives.
SrA Marshall entered the Air Force in 2022 following her graduation from a Fine Arts high school in Virginia. She began her career as a Religious Affairs Airman at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, where she managed the largest White Rope Volunteer Program in Air Education and Training Command, leading 92 student volunteers who supported 273 religious services and more than 36,000 Basic Military Training trainees. She also provided spiritual support, crisis intervention, and leadership advisement across multiple training organizations.
From October 2024 to April 2025, SrA Marshall deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. During her deployment, she extended her tour and traveled to 12 countries throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, performing for deployed service members, coalition partners, diplomats, and distinguished visitors. Through these performances, she supported morale, strengthened international partnerships, and represented the United States Air Force abroad.
