Airman First Class Emily Marshall is a vocalist in the United Sates Air Force Band of the West at Joint Base San Antonio Lackland, Texas. She was born in Normal, Illinois. She serves in the Top Flight Rock and Pop Band where she provides musical support for events to promote national interests at home and abroad, to foster public trust and support, and to enhance morale for all Airmen and Guardians.
She joined the Air Force immediately following her time at a Fine Arts high school in Virginia. Her career began with helping others as a Religious Affairs Airman, stationed at JBSA Lackland since April of 2022. She managed the largest White Rope Volunteer Program in all of AETC, overseeing a team of 92 student leaders who provided support to BMT, executing 273 religious services, and reaching out to serve 36,595 trainees. Additionally, A1C Marshall provided spiritual triage, crisis intervention counseling, and unit engagement for 37th TRG staff, as well as advising leadership at 13 different Joint Service Technical Training Units. She regularly performs at engagements in the local area to include the 737 TRG and 37 TRSS Change of command ceremonies, CMSgt Retirement/ Premotion Ceremonies, and local sporting events. In addition to performing and singing, she enjoys spending her time in the sun at the beach, reading and watching movies.
