Airman First Class Adam Julian is a horn player originally from Dayton, Ohio. As a member of the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America, he performs in the Concert Band, Ceremonial Band, and Midwest Winds. A1C Julian received a Bachelor of Music degree in horn performance from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Music degree in horn performance from the University of Michigan. Airman Julian’s teachers include Adam Unsworth, Brian Kennedy, Denise Tryon, Randy Gardner, and Elizabeth Freimuth. Before joining the Air Force, A1C Julian was the principal horn of the Lima Symphony, as well as a frequent sub with many orchestras around Ohio and Michigan. In addition to horn, A1C Julian plays upright bass and enjoys performing music from a wide variety of genres, including classical, jazz, bluegrass, and rock.
