Airman 1st Class Fernando Yanez

A1C Fernando Yanez is an oboist with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA.  Originally from Los Angeles, California, his Air Force career began in 2022.

A1C Fernando Yanez is a 2015 graduate of The University of North Texas, Denton, Texas, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in oboe performance.  In 2022, he received a professional studies diploma in oboe performance from The Cleveland Institute of Music, Cleveland, OH.  His teachers include Jeffrey Rathbun, James Ryon, and Dr. Charles Veazey.
