Airman First Class Andrew Berry is a euphonium player with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA and currently plays with the Concert Band and Ceremonial Band. Originally from Johns Creek, GA, Andrew's Air Force career began in 2022.
A1C Berry earned his bachelor's degree from Kennesaw State University in 2020 and went on to earn his master's degree from the University of Georgia in 2022. His teachers have included Don Strand (Atlanta Ballet Orchestra), Adam Frey (International Soloist/University of North Georgia), Martin Cochran (Adams Performing Artist), Paul Dickinson (Kennesaw State University), Jason Casanova (Besson Performing Artist/Kennesaw State University), and Matthew Shipes (University of Georgia). A1C Berry is a previous winner of the Kennesaw State University Concerto Competition as well as multiple ITEA (International Tuba-Euphonium Association) sponsored Solo and Mock-Military Band competitions. In 2021, he co-founded the Atlanta Low Brass Academy, a non-profit organization based out of Atlanta, Georgia. The organization provides online content as well as hosts an educational camp for Atlanta-area middle and high school low brass students.
