A1C Jacob Conway is a saxophonist and auditions coordinator at the United States Air Force Band of Mid America, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. He performs over 50 concerts annually with various groups including Shades of Blue, Starlifter, and the Concert Band. As auditions coordinator, he orchestrates the advertisement, communication, and hiring process for prospective USAF Band candidates.
Originally from Colorado, A1C Conway graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder where he earned a Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance with an Emphasis in Jazz and a Minor in Business. After graduating Basic Military Training in January of 2023, he started his military career at Scott Air Force Base where he is currently serving his first term. Prior to his current position he was a freelance musician and music educator in Wichita, Kansas.
