Senior Airman Hayden Johnson is a percussionist assigned to the United States Air Force Band of Flight, Wright – Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. He performs his musical duties as a percussionist with the unit’s brass ensemble “Spirit of Freedom”. He also serves as the organizational defense travel administrator, vehicle control officer and operations representative.
Hayden was born and raised in Chambersburg Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2023 with a Bachelor of Percussion Performance, where he was a student of Timothy K. Adams Jr. and Kimberly Toscano Adams. In August 2022 he joined the Air Force and upon completion of Basic Military Training, he was assigned to the United States Air Force Band of Flight, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
