Airman 1st Class Pearse Lee

Airman First Class (A1C) Pearse Enright Lee is a clarinetist with the United States Air Force (USAF) Heritage of America Band. Originally hailing from Charlottesville, VA, he has been stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis since beginning his Air Force career in August 2022. In addition to performing with the Concert Band, A1C Lee performs with the Langley Wind Quintet.

Prior to joining the Air Force, A1C Lee attended the University of Michigan and earned his Bachelor of Music in Performance in 2020. He then attended the University of Denver Lamont School of Music and earned his Master of Music in Performance in 2022. His primary teachers include Dr. Jeremy Reynolds, Chad Burrow, and Dan Gilbert. A1C Lee acted as a freelance clarinetist and educator in the Denver/Detroit communities. Throughout this time, A1C Lee has had the opportunity to work with wonderful clarinetists such as Bill King, Ralph Skiano, Pascual Martínez-Forteza, Cecilia Kang, Jackie Glazier, Kari Landry, and Dr. Joshua Anderson.
