Staff Sergeant Beatrice Scorby

Staff Sergent (SSgt)) Beatrice Scorby serves as pianist for the United States Band of the West, Joint Base San Antonio- Lackland, Texas. A native of Evanston, Illinois, SSgt Scorby received her Bachelor’s Degree in Piano performance from Indiana University.

SSgt Scorby enlisted in 2022 and has participated in numerous outreach, support, and recruiting initiatives throughout eastern and southern United States. In 2024, she had the opportunity to deploy and represent the United States Air Force on critical troop morale and international partnership-building missions in support of Operation Inherent Resolve across multiple nations in the Middle East and Central Asia.

2009 Bachelor's Degree. Piano Performance and Fine Arts, Indiana University
