The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Technical Sergeant Seth Ebersole

Technical Sergeant Seth Ebersole is the baritone saxophonist with the Airmen of Note, The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. A native of Reading, Pennsylvania, Sergeant Ebersole’s Air Force career begain in 2022.

Sergeant Ebersole joined the Airmen of Note in 2022, where career highlights include the Jazz Heritage Series performance and recording with Ignacio Berroa. Additionally, Sergeant Ebersole is featured on the upcoming 2022 Airmen of Note studio album.

He holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Jazz Saxophone from Temple University, where he studied with Dick Oatts and Timothy Warfield, Jr. Sergeant Ebersole also earned a Master of Music degree from Michigan State University, where he studied with Diego Rivera.
