Airman First Class Bruno Gutierrez is a tubist with the USAF Band of Mid-America. A1C Gutierrez is originally from Laredo, Texas. He attended West Texas A&M University where he received his Bachelors of Music Education. He then attended Indiana University Jacobs School of Music for his Master Degree in Tuba Performance. Throughout his schooling, A1C Gutierrez taught private lessons and freelanced throughout the Panhandle of Texas and Southern Indiana. Aside from tuba, he also plays electric bass and upright bass. His primary tuba instructors include John R. Reimund, Dr. Jeremy Lewis, and Daniel Perantoni. His primary bass instructors include Dr. Nicholas Scales and Christian Dillingham.
Currently, his additional duty is the Assistant Auditions Coordinator for Band of Mid-America Auditions Team.
