Senior Airman Bruno Gutierrez serves as tuba player and auditions coordinator for the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
A native of Laredo, Texas, SrA Gutierrez is a graduate of West Texas A&M University where he earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree. He then attended Indiana University Jacobs School of Music for his Master’s Degree in Tuba Performance and Performance Diploma in Jazz Bass. Throughout his schooling, SrA Gutierrez taught private lessons, master classes, and freelanced on both tuba and bass throughout Texas and Indiana. He began his military career as an enlisted member of the United States Air Force in 2022.
